Humvee 2CT™ Hawkeye MHS presentation at the National Guard Base

Recently, the National Guard base Camp Grayling in the United States hosted a demonstration of the modern 2CT™ Hawkeye MHS artillery system. It is a mobile 105 mm howitzer equipped with the Soft Recoil system (a unique recoil system solution), mounted on a specially adapted Humvee 2CT vehicle (two-door armored transport vehicle), distinguished by its lowest weight and the greatest maneuverability among self-propelled howitzers in the world. Representatives of MMC accompanied delegations of the Ministry of National Defense units of Poland, Bangladesh and Bahrain.

The demonstration focused on the extraordinary mobility and effectiveness of the Hawkeye MHS, which can fire two shots and leave the position in just 3 minutes – the first projectile is fired after just one and a half minutes from taking the position (during the demonstration, an impressive 8 shots were achieved in less than a minute). Such high mobility significantly increases the unit’s chances of survival in dynamic combat conditions. The Polish delegation was able to assess the capabilities of this system and its potential for the Polish Armed Forces, which is part of broader efforts to modernize equipment and cooperate with American partners.
